For the second time in so many days I've seen someone sitting in a New York Starbucks and using his/her iPhone/iPad to make a video call. Videocalling has been with us for many years now and was popular to some extent in some countries, as reported here for example already in 2006. However, on a global scale it was never a big success. So twice in two days over an IP based technology now. Looks like there is potential after all, perhaps due to a different pricing proposition…
